Multiple GO-Global Servers, One License
By default, each GO-Global host you install is automatically initialized as a FLEXlm license manager. By establishing a GO-Global license server, you enable multiple GO-Global servers to make use of a single license. In order to establish a license server for GO-Global licensing:
- Install the FLEXlm license to the license server machine as normal (i.e. save as [GOGLOBAL_ROOT]/etc/license.dat)
- In each GO-Global host which needs access to the license, copy the initial license.
- Delete VENDOR, INCREMENT and HOSTID lines.
- Replace with USE_SERVER
The resulting file should read:
SERVER [hostname] [hostid]
USE_SERVER
Where both the [hostname] and [hostid] are from the license server.
